Cupcakes or lack there of.

This fall we are moving to a new neighborhood. One that reminds us of Fremont (sans the nude bike riders during the Summer Solstice). There is a shop close to our future apartment called W. Cupcake. At first, I only saw a sign pointing towards the location and indicating that they were “new”! Hurrah!

I have become quite fond of speciality cupcakes after becoming a weekly cupcake eater at Cupcake Royale in Ballard. Cathy even threw my bachelorette party there! (Photo from the event.)

Cupcakes

I must express, now, to my extreme disappointment that W. Cupcake is a shop that sells everything except cupcakes. (Like a physical Etsy.com). Please inform me why someone would give their store such a misleading name?!

In conclusion, Madison is seriously lacking a speciality cupcake shop. If I had the resources (and time) I would open my own cupcake shop. Would anyone like to help me?

oooh, that would be SO fun! A cupcake shop. Sadly, you are in Wisconsin.

that’s just mean! get somebody’s hopes up for cupcakes and then dash their dreams!
if you were to open a cupcake shop i would suggest you get the location next door. that way anyone who dejectedly walks out of non cupcake store would have their spirits lifted immediately! :)

Mmm…
You know Bakerella? http://bakerella.blogspot.com/
You must, if you love cupcakes so much.
They call them Fairy Cakes here. And sometimes they cut the top off, ice it, then cut the top in half and make it into fairy wings.. thus.. fairy cakes..
